FAQ & Policies

All tubers will be sold as single tuber.  All cuttings are guaranteed to have roots.  

Cuttings are delicate and will need some TLC after shipping.  Please make sure they get some filtered light and a little moisture right away and if possible, place in a pot of dirt and under a dome for a few days after arrival.  After 24 hours of filtered light, cuttings can be placed under grow lights or in direct sunlight until its time to plant them outside. 

Dahlia tuber and cutting sales are final. Once orders are placed, we cannot make changes or add or subtract items.

Our tuber and cutting sale is ONLINE ONLY.

We will be offering a "local pickup” option as part of the checkout process for those of you that want to skip the shipping costs and pick up your orders. If you want to pick up your orders please use the pickup option at checkout.

Pick up dates will be emailed in the spring. If you have chosen to pick up your order please enter your email at checkout otherwise we will not be able to contact you! 

    Our farm is a little difficult to find and parking is limited so we will likely choose a central location (in Abbotsford) for pickup.  The location will be emailed to you a few weeks before the pick up date. 

    Shipping will begin at the end of April/early May depending on temperatures. 

        SHOPPING CART:

        All sales are first come, first served. Items that are in your cart are not reserved until your order is complete. Your order is complete once you have checked out and received an order number along with a confirmation email. Please be aware that if you are trying to purchase many different varieties some may sell out before you are able to checkout. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this can be, however we are just a small farm and have limited amounts of each variety.

        PRODUCT SATISFACTION:

        We value you, our customer, and want you to be happy with the product that you receive from us. We guarantee that your tubers/cuttings will arrive to you in good condition as we go through multiple checks to ensure that we are supplying you with the best quality product. Even though we take all the precautions to provide a quality product we ask that upon receipt of your order: please inspect your tubers/cuttings immediately and contact us via email at: countryroadflowers@gmail.com within a week of your order arriving if you have any concerns. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements after the 7 days.

        Please understand that we can NOT be held responsible for improper storage once you receive your tubers or cuttings, weather, growing conditions, pest damage, plant performance, failure to thrive or negligence. 

        SHIPPING:

        Shipping is within Canada only. We cannot ship to the US. Shipping will begin in April, depending on temperatures. You will receive shipping and tracking information once your order has shipped. Please note that we cannot accommodate early shipping requests.

        We have two options for shipping: 

        Standard shipping charge is a flat $25 rate across Canada, choose this option if you live in BC or or you have ordered tubers only. 

        Express shipping for a flat rate of $45.  If you have ordered cuttings and you live outside of BC, we highly suggest you choose this option.  

        COMBINING ORDERS:

        We will combine shipping for TUBER ORDERS ONLY.  If you place multiple orders of TUBERS you will pay one shipping cost. Please make sure all orders are purchased with the same email address. You must select shipping and pay for shipping on each order, but we will refund the extra shipping fees.  

        If you purchase cuttings and tubers, we will do our best to combine shipping for multiple orders but it is not guaranteed. If we can combine, then we will refund the extra shipping charge once your order has been completely shipped. 

        LIMITS:

        We may choose to set some limits on some of our most sought after varieties so that more people have a chance to get them. All varieties with a limit are clearly stated in the product description. Please respect these limitations when placing your order.
